چکیده

This article develops the applicability of non-linear processing techniques such as Compressed Sensing (CS), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Iterative Adaptive Approach (IAA), and Multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) for purpose enhanced UAV detections using portable radar systems. The combined scheme has many advantages potential better detection classification accuracy. Some benefits are discussed here with a phased array platform in mind, novel Radar (PWR) by Agile RF Systems (ARS), which offers quadrant outputs. CS IAA both show promising results when applied to micro-Doppler returns owing sparse nature target Doppler frequencies. shows promise reducing dwell time increases rate at volume can be interrogated. Real-time information iterative solutions is possible now advent GPU-based graphics hardware. Simulations results.

An Adaptive Spline Non-linear Function for Blind Signal Processing

In this paper a new adaptive non linear function for blind signal processing is presented. It is based on a spline approximation whose control points are adaptively changed using information maximization techniques. The monotonously increasing characteristic is obtained using suitable B-spline functions imposing simple constraints on its control points. In particular, the problem of adaptively ...

Fourier models for non-linear signal processing

This paper proposes a trigonometric functional extension, hereafter named the Fourier model, as an alternative framework to the Volterra approach for non-linear systems modelling. This work is focused on the general advantages that trigonometric functionals show in adaptive implementations and also on the possibility they provide to reuse well-known linear processing tools in a non-linear conte...

Robust adaptive signal processing methods for heterogeneous radar clutter scenarios

This paper addresses the problem of radar target detection in severely heterogeneous clutter environments. Speci0cally, we present the performance of the normalized matched 0lter test in a background of disturbance consisting of clutter having a covariance matrix with known structure and unknown scaling plus background white Gaussian noise. It is shown that when the clutter covariance matrix is...

1 Signal Processing Methods for Doppler Radar Heart Rate Monitoring ∗

A practical means for unobtrusive and ubiquitous detection and monitoring of heart and respiration activity from a distance could be a powerful tool for health care, emergency, and surveillance applications, yet remains a largely unrealized goal. Without the need for contact or subject preparation (special clothing, attachments, etc.), this could better extend health monitoring to the chronical...

FFT Signal processing for non-coherent radar systems

Coherent and non-coherent radar detection of moving targets is analyzed and expressions relating the post-video-detection moving target signal-tonoise ratio to the pre-video-detection moving target signal-to-noise and clutter-to-noise ratios are obtained for non-coherent detection. The effect of processing this resulting real (non-coherent) signal with an FFT processor is then analyzed and comp...
